Cartoons
Lately I've been checking out a lot a great political cartoons. Jude's biting wit and tendency for profanity would make him a great cartoonist. Jude, can you draw? Post some cartoons for the fans, will ya'?
Slate always has a great catalog of cartoons. If you want to start browsing while waiting for Jude to hit the big time.
Ann Telnaes is by far the best visually, but others are more clever. Plus she's so left-leaning she gets repetitive. I like my cartoonists to take shots at everybody. I haven't seen much of that in her work. But she's really fantastic nonetheless. Maybe that's why she got a Pulitzer?
My "downhome" favorite is Marshall Ramsay of the Clarion Ledger in Jackson, MS. He takes on lots of local issues, so our national (international?) audience might not be so keen on him. But he always sums up the politics pretty well and gives you something to laugh at.
Enjoy
