Matt Lauer is a tool.

I just watched his interview with Michael Moore. I thought I was gonna barf. Lauer set up straw men, threw out red herrings, unfairly baited his subject, and was so damn hostile I half imagined that he would stab Moore with a pen before the end of the interview. Moore kept his temper, however, and made Lauer look like the schmuck he is by noting that, if he (Lauer) had gone after Bush administration officials with the same fervor (and, by extension, other reporters had done the same), there might not even be a war in Iraq right now, because all of the phony reasons that the Bush people offered would not have stood even the slightest scrutiny or skepticism.

Still, Matt Lauer is a tool.
