I spotted this letter in the NYT today and thought about one of Jude's previous posts about millionaire politicians. I think this guy hits the nail on the head when he says the relevant consideration is how the millions were earned. I think that Jude's point, correct me if I'm wrong, was that the vast majority of these politicians, including our 2004 presidential candidates, didn't EARN their money at all, but inherited it.
