Great article on page 2 about the aesthetics of street ball. It makes me think of that line in White Men Can't Jump when Wesley Snipes says: "Ooo it's so pretty."

Its so true though. Whenever I played pick-up games I tried to look like shit so I might surprise a few people. But all the primetime guys had the new clothes and jewelry. Maybe that's why they called me Dirk Nowitzki. Maybe it was my sweet jumper.
