Rail Gin
For those of you who, like Jon, are not wise in the ways of the world, "rail gin" is the gin "in the rail" at a bar. When you ask for, say, a gin & tonic, if you do not specify non-rot-gut gin, they'll just grab some of whatever awful firewater is in the rail and pour it in a glass. The same goes for any other sort of mixed drink. They default to the cheap shit.
And they ain't all like 206, with Tanqueray in the rail.
Unfortunately.
