Hard to Believe
I should have put this up last week when I ran across it, but I just didn't. Anyway, I managed to do it this time.
Broken US troops face bigger enemy at home--again, from the Brit press, not in a US outlet.
I think this was the hardest bit to stomach: "After discussion of his case it was determined ... this may be in his best interest mentally to overcome his fear by facing it. Therefore, he has been cleared for redeployment."
The Department of Veterans' Affairs has a National Center for PTSD, and I don't think that they recommend such treatment--unless you consider a war zone a "safe, controlled environment." I know I don't.
